Until I started to notice their boo-boos.
1. Batteries do not last for one year. I know, i know. It's not part of the warranty. Pero whoa... ibig sabihin nagbebenta kayo ng watch na a) either matagal ng nakadisplay kaya ubos na ang battery pag nabili na or b) puro paubos na ang battery ng watches na binebenta nyo?
Nooo. It can't be A. Kasi when I bought the one with the leather strap, it says 'New Arrival' on the display. Lantarang pandaraya. Battery na nga lang, tinitipid pa... Dahil ba ina-alot nila na pambayad ke Piolo at Angel ang budget imbes na sa batteries ng watches nila?
2. Poor customer service. OK bigyan ko kayo 3 examples:
a. I ordered a strap (for the one with leather-strap) and they told me it will take at last 3 months for the items to arrive. Lintek. Galing ba sa bundok yan? Kelangan ko na kasi ng strap so sige, tyaga na lang. 6 months na, wala pa rin. 7th month, bumili ako ng bagong relo, same brand so finallow-up ko ulit yung request ko. Sabi, nagbago na pala ng request form. Baka wala na yung old request ko. Ayus a? Kung di ako bumili ng bago, di ko malalaman na umaasa ako sa wala dahil...
b. ...ang service center na binigay nila, MADALAS walang sumasagot. Ayaw nyo maniwala? Try calling 817-9008. Matapos ang ilang oras na walang sumasagot biglang nag-busy. Yun pala, coffee break daw (sabi sa headquarters nila). Ayos talaga.
c. finally, after hundred attempts, I was able to talk to their customer service. Only to find out na WALA ng strap para sa watch ko kasi.. phase out na daw! Old model na daw yun. Watdapak? Last year lang yun a. And before I bought the watch, I made sure that I can easily buy a spare strap. The people in the store said there'd be no problem. Talk about sales talk!
I therefore conclude, 3 watches are enough. Leche kayo TIMEX.
