Expired Na Eh!

I'm fascinated today by the thought of expiration dates being printed on the labels of the goods that we buy. I realize its importance. The honesty we get from the manufacturer serves as our guidance. It's their subtle way of saying "O after 6 months, wag mo na kainin 'to, sa ospital na pupulutin ang tyan mo".

I once had a fever when I was onsite. My housemates were kind enough to provide me a paracetamol. Kaso...wala syang effect. Saka lang namin napansin na expired na yung gamot (Waaaaa! Sinasabotage ata ako ng mga 'to!) Buti na lang walang nangyari =) Ganyan pag binabalewala mo yung expiration date, kakabahan ka. Di mo alam ano mangyayari. Nakain/nainom/nagamit mo na, saka mo lang naisip. Too late na.

Sino nakakaalala kay Xi Men from Meteor Garden? He believe that girls too have their expiration dates. One week to be exact. After that, time to drop her and search for a new one. Kanya-kanya lang daw, walang pakialamanan.

I agree, lahat pala may expiration dates. Pagkain, sabon, air freshener, sopdrinks, bulutong-tubig, dora rat killer, gamot, etc.

~ a hug ten minutes late.
~ a revelation a lifetime late.

Sabi nila "It's better late than never". I say better not be late at all. Kasi kahit sa shopping, when you spot a good buy and you know it's really worth your money, you don't leave it and hope that when you come back it's still there waiting for you. It seldom happens chuy. Chances are, when you find a good buy, people recognize it too. And when you had your chance and you put that dress back on the rack, may iba agad magsusukat. Lalo na pag sale.

Everything happens for a reason. Minsan andami nating tanong na 'bakit'. Walang sagot? Malay mo "expired na". Ganon talaga. Expired na eh.
