Ayayay New Moon

Mga 2 months before the showing, nakareserve na yung ticket ko. I was excited to watch the sequel of Twilight. I was not a fan of the first movie. But I was interested to see the 2nd installment. I even applied for a half-day leave when this movie opened up in theaters. Nakipila ako sa first day....

Then it all went down the drain.

Me mga scenes na hindi na-justify kasi kapos sa execution. I know mahirap i-squeeze yung book sa dalawang oras na movie. Pero yun nga, andaming important part sa book ang di nasali.

3. Di naman useless si Bella nung nawala si Edward. Actually sabi ni Charlie, she was trying too hard that it hurts. A sya sa classes. Me work din sya.

4. Wala yung part na si Edward naman yung willing to beg just to prove to Bella na he's made the wrong decision. Nagusap kasi sila sa Italy nung sinisave sya ni Bella tas yun na ata yun. Sa book, madami sila napagusapan sa plane. Ayaw pa matulog ni Bella. Payback time. All along, puro suffering ni Bella ang napanood natin. Asan yung side ni Edward?

5. Pang Sampaguita Picture naman yung mga linya ni Jacob na hanging tipong "Bella....."

6. Si Kristen lang ata ang nagdala ng movie (acting-wise) at nilaglag sya ng 2 leading men nya... ayayay.

1. men are lower form of specie.
2. men needs instruction manuals. women writes them.

recently, i can also safely conclude that there are 2 basic type of men
a. the financer
b. the domesticated

the financer. most girls would settle with this type of men. smart girls search for them. you seldom see them get down and dirty. these guys invented Erap's motto: money makes the world go round. flat tire? no problem. leaking faucets? no problem. no more ice? no problem. one limitation though: cash on atm dispenser.

the domesticated: the remaining few of their origin, smarter girls prefer them. they'd haggle with you sa palengke, frown or get angry when you buy them expensive gifts, retaliates that with that price, he could buy "more sensible items" needed, befriends Mr. Muscle, always has extra fuse somewhere, keeps Bulldog or Mighty bond around, puts oil on your squeaky doors. limitation: cash on atm dispenser.

if your guy is a combo, buy him a helmet sister! they come mediumly rare.

if you're getting married, recheck if your groom is a man and to which type does he fall in. DO NOT IGNORE THIS. after 'convincing' yourself, ask yourself if you really want to be stuck forever with that type of man.

Kahapon, nagiinquire ako sa Mcdo Macapagal regarding birthday packages. We had so much fun last year @ Piyeyi's 1st bday so i thought we could redo the party for Pompy, same place and same host sana. Kaso ang problema.. nakalimutan ko na name nung nag-host. Isa lang ang clue... bakla sya.

So pano ba hahanapin yun? I called the branch.

Usong-uso ngayon ang mga TV series. Pag di ka nakapanood ng latest episode, outdated ka agad (at humanda ka sa mga spoilers). Ano-anong series ba ang pinapanood mo? At bakit? Ako, heto:

1. Gossip Girl - reminds me how blessed I am na "general patronage" pa ang high school era ko (1991-1995). At imbes ma-bully, kasali ako sa tropa ng mga bullies. hehe.
   
   Blair is my favorite biatch. She's pretty and fearless. Cute si Nate, pang boyband. Si Chuck laging parang high. Dan is too good to be true. Lil sis nya (forgot her name) is a social climber which reminds me of someone...
   
   "3 words. 8 letters. Say it, I'm yours." Wow.


2. Chuck - pinaka-favorite ko ngayon. Comedy slash action. Sana maging si Chuck at Sarah na.


3. How I Met Your Mother - seriously, walang gwapo sa series na 'to (lolz). Pero sulit panoorin dahil sa pamatay na mga hirit ni Barney (Neil Patrick Harris). Can't believe he's gay in real life.


4. Entourage - 20 mins ++ lang every episode. At walang episode na walang sinex yung isa sa apat na main character dito. At parang di naman si Vince Chase ang bida dito hehe. I fell in love sa character ni E (sya pala si Finn sa The Notebook).


5. Smallville - Pinapanood ko na ulit. Kaso sa season na 'to, parang di worthy yung mga pinalit na characters sa mga nawala. I miss Lana Lang. Si Lex Luthor malamang babalik naman yun? Ang good thing lang sa season na 'to ay si Green Archer (wafu!). Si Clark Kent, iisa lang ang jacket. At inlab na si Lois sa kanya?


6. Dexter - di ko na pinapanood. Inistop ko muna. Walang gwapo dito. And seriously, bat di pa sya nahuhuli ng mga pulis?


7. Grey's Anatomy - nawala ata yung charm ni McDreamy simula maglive-in sila ni Meredith? Sige, magbreak na lang muna ulit kayo hehehe. Si Lexie, inlab sa bading uyyyy hehehe. Ang dense mo naman George. Pang-asar si Alex. Lagi lang sinasaktan ang kalooban ni Izzie. Cristina, wala ng spice ang role nyo ni McSteamy. Ano ba yan. Sana mag guest naman ulit si Addison tsaka si Dr. Burke :)

Tas back to normal na naman kami, for sure. Magkasama araw-araw. Walang katapusang pagkahulog na wala namang sasalo.

Hay buhay. Ikaw na ang mainlab. Anlapit na nga pero anlayo pa pala. Baka maunahan na ako ng iba.

Sasabihin ko na ba? Bahala na si Batman.

From the sweet mtv of ‘Sometimes’ to the performance with snake (also for MTV VMA 2001), wow! You’ve grown to be a hot momma (die, Kevin Fetherline!) And then bad news poured everywhere: the divorce, the hair, the pics of your (non-present) undies.

As Kanye West said “They know that Britney wasn't ready and they had her perform, so they exploited her.” People will be watching because of YOU. Waiting for you to (continue to) make a mistake. And dude…that day, you barely dance. huhuhu =(

Never mind the arguments whether you’re fat or not (this is totally irrelevant, you know).

If All Books Are For Geeks

1. Nakabili na ako ng Pugad Baboy 19 at Beerkada 6. Haven't read them though (they are now officially included in the pile of my unread books). Someday one day, I will finish them all *smile*

2. Speaking of books from NY, I browsed a chicklit novel in Borders while waiting for En to buy us NBA tix at Madison Square Garden. 1 hr ko ng hawak, di ko pa rin binili. Indecisive me. Anyways, nakauwi na ako ng Pinas when I realized that I really really want that book. One problem: I forgot the title and author. It's like finding a needle in a haystack. Hay BOBO!

3. Last week, my last Amazon package arrived in Manila. It was ordered in NY pero hindi ko na inabutan (Thanks pala sa help ni Eric and Marvean). Imagine my surprise when it was THAT book! My gas! Inorder ko ba yun? Wala akong matandaan!!! Poor me, poor memory. Pero I'm soooo happy hehehe. Ok, one more book "to read": Where is he now? by Jennifer Greene.

4. I also found a copy of Pride and Prejudice worth 200++ lang with nice cover. This book is in every bookstore pero mapili lang talaga ako. Ayaw ko nung parang ostrich na cover ba yun hehe. Ang kwento dito, ginawan ko 'to ng book report when I was in high school ata. But my mind can only grasp simple forms of literature which are mostly Pinoy pocketbooks and comics. So in the end, ni-browse ko lang ung ending. Finished! Book report submitted. Where's the book? Pinamigay ko ata. Ngayon, napanood ko yung movie starring Keira Knightly. Ayus. Love story pala eto? hehehe. Babasahin ko na pramis.
