Trip to old Uniwide Warehouse Club

Out of desperation for cheap Roman Blinds, I had a date with my mom who's been a fan of Uniwide Warehouse Club(Or Uniwide Sales, now known as Super 8) for as long as I can remember. So eto na... Roman blinds that costs 200++php used in the Orange room (master's bedroom).

Pwede na di ba? Mahangin at... di na kami nasisilip ng kabilang bahay bwehehe.







Also used in our kitchen... harhar. Anlaking tipid. Nagtanong ako nito sa OurHome, nasa 2500 each. Sa SM naman, nasa 1400. utang na loob!


Toothpaste holder for 12php. I was so glad because this one has a hole in the bottom. Para di maipon yung tubig. Just what I was looking for :)



Food tray for 69php. I dont know why i bought this, i just love its color and playfulness. I'll probably put my abubots here (ring, watch, etc) then put it in the drawer for easy access pero at least seggregated sa iba pang kalat.

12php for the red tray and 40++php for each balls. So this kaartehan is just 99php. Nagkukunyari lang ako na me alam sa art-art.




Woven placemat that costs 250++ sa Landmark at SM? I bought it at 45php each :P

Oh, the kid... she's misplaced during the picture-taking... definitely not for sale =D

FYI: Desitin Cream

warning: para sa mga may baby lang (hindi yung nagbebeybi-beybihan)

A lot of mothers are stressed out, trying to look for Desitin Cream in drugstores and supermarket. Well, I still have 3 tubes at home, simultaenously being used by Pompy (depending on where she hits the need to change her diaper). But I jump at the bandwagon and joined the panic-stricken moms harassing every Mercury Drug and Watson's in manila area. Out of stock talaga!

Checking the packaging, Desitin Cream was imported by Pfizer in Makati. 2 buildings away from where I work. Ayus. Maybe they have stock at the office (maybe some employees still wear diapers, or have rashes, whatever... but I'm hoping they keep some desitin at their office). Tawagan ko muna. Sabi ng sales representative na nakausap ko, "Dati po Pfizer ang nag-iimport. Johnson & Johnson na po ngayon."

Oh no.

Google ulit. Ayoko maniwala. Ang Johnson & Johnson ba talagang nasa Paranaque? Maybe a stone throw away from where I live? Hehe OA naman. Pero di nga, kala ko ba palayan lang ang Paranaque???

Calling J&J... Manong guard ata ang sumagot. Trinansfer ako. This lady told me that yes, J&J is now importing Desitin from US. And it's out of stock because they stopped importing. Test is ongoing to further enhance(?) the product. The good news is, by May it will be available in the local market already. Promise daw.

That's just what I needed to know. Alleluia.

ps: I just realized I can be a hell of a stalker when i want to. behave, be aware and beware.
